Having to think about your own funeral arrangements can be an uncomfortable thing to do, but thoughtful pre-planning can secure not only your own piece of mind but also the comfort and reassurance that your family will be spared the extra burden at such an emotional time.

Transport
Our funerals are carried out in traditional style with Hearse and Limousine. Our fleet of Jaguar funeral cars are unique with their two-tone colouring of Black and Dark Grey. Other alternatives are Horse Drawn Carriages or Motor Cycle Hearse. There are other bespoke options available.
Floral Tributes
Many family and friends express their sympathy through flowers this provides a unique opportunity to express their feelings and can bring comfort to the bereaved. We can cater for all styles and budgets, our experienced florist can design individual and specialised tributes.
Order of Service
Individual requirements for Order of Service can be arranged and we endeavour to produce an attractive, quality item that the bereaved will wish to keep as a reminder of their loved one.
Obituary – Death Notice
We are able to place an announcement in a local or national newspaper on your behalf to inform family and friends of the details of the Funeral service. We are more than happy to help you draft such a notice.
Charity Donations
We will be pleased to receive donations in memory of your loved one and forward them onto your chosen charity on your behalf. The fund will be kept open for a period of approximately four weeks from the date of the funeral. On closing the fund, a letter will be forwarded to you giving the total amount received along with a list of donors. All monies collected is then forwarded to the nearest local office of the chosen charity, they are then requested to acknowledge receipt of the donations to you.
Memory Bears
Each Memory Bear is lovingly handmade from a chosen piece of your loved ones clothing. A beautiful way of turning a memorable outfit into something so special.
There is also an option for storing some of your loved ones ashes in the ‘Memory Bear’.
Dove Release
A white dove release offers a soothing touch in a time of sadness and sorrow.
We are offering a dove release with all funerals at no extra cost. This is one of our most popular additions.
Funeral Finance
We understand that the cost of a funeral or purchasing a memorial can be something that was unexpected, we therefore offer a finance option on all of our funerals and memorials.

Ladies In White
As well as our traditional all Black outfits we also offer a service which we call ‘Ladies in White’. Dressed in white rather than the traditional Black uniforms softens the look and is almost more peaceful on the eye. Used in conjunction with a horse and carriage this can help create a really special service.
Hygienic Treatment
Hygienic Treatment is an additional service, please note this procedure is not undertaken without the consent of the family.
Music & Hymns
A choice of music and hymns is an important aspect of celebrating the life of a loved one. We can arrange an organist, soloist, Highland Piper, Bugler, Jazz band, it is a special way of remembering them
Coffins
Our team of Funeral Directors understand that for some people choosing a coffin for a loved one may be distressing, so we want to be here to help and support you whilst you make that decision.
Walsh Funerals & Memorials can offer many bespoke options of coffins & caskets, from the type of material it is made from through to the finishing colour. Whether it’s a simple design or the most truly elaborate Coffin that you are looking for, we will be able to supply it.
We work with specially selected coffin suppliers to ensure that we are able to offer a high quality & varied choice of coffin for your loved one.
Not all coffins and caskets are suitable for burial and cremation, this is something that you can discuss in more detail with us. We will always be available to answer any queries that you and your family may have.
